Justice, if you get Pentax, go with the SP's. The WP's are good, but the SP's are better. They feature "aspherical" glass and have an extra hard coating lenses, which helps protect them from scratches, plus they're a tad lighter than the WP's, and have a great tethered objective lens cover system. I don't have any personal experience with Kahles, but everything I've ever read about them is positive. The thing is, I believe the Pentax SP's are every bit as good as the Kahles, Minox, etc.., but they're less money.
If you decide on Pentax, check
www.cameralandny.com for prices. They were selling the 8x43 SP's for right aroung $430.00 and the 10x43's for $450.00 or so. Call and ask for Doug, I'm sure he'll treat you right. Another place with great prices is
www.hotbuyselectronics.com. I've made two purchases from them that went off without a hitch, but I've heard others have been less fortunate.
If you don't mind spending a bit more money, the Zeiss 10x40 ClassiC's at Cabelas for $699.99 (were just on sale for $649.99) are still one of the best bargains out there.
Good luck.
