Well, we had 2 more hunters kill today. Both hunters are from the Seattle area, one is a really well known taxidermist up there. The first buck was this morning and it is a low to mid 180's typical that is 30" wide and the other is a bruiser that we almost killed last week. He is 28 1/2" wide and has better than 20" G2's. The deer will be within an inch or two of booking and has a strong chance to net over 190". This is without the best year we have had in Sonora! I will give more details when I get them.

Drummond

Do you guys use chute plans below the border? HAHA Just kidding! Congrats and hope you guys waylay that non typical.

Drummond, sounds like an awesome year i cant wait to see the pictures. I was curious what the taxidermist name was? Because i am from WA my self.

Garrett

Two for two in Jerry's camp!
I knew they would connect, but when was the question. Looks like S.G. gets a free ride home. LOL

Cool. Cant wait to see pics.

Was it Buzzy Cook? He's about the best known taxi in Washington.

Congrats,

Ernie

LAST EDITED ON Jan-22-04 AT 08:46PM (MST)[p]It was Buzzy. He is a GREAT guy and I hope he will be in camp with us for many more years.

Drum

I would LOVE to be able to hunt that kind of country...Sounds awesome..Someday Drum I'M going to book a hunt with you....

Sure wish I was still down there......rut is in full swing and I am stuck here working.......thanks again for having me down and like everyone else I cant wait to see the pictures of these new ones............Allen Taylor......

Is there a web site for this outfitter? Are you the outfitter Sonora? I'm just curious. I happen to know a rich guy that spends bucks to go to Mehico every year but he kills like 23 inch 150 bucks! I'd like to steer him your way!

Buzzy is a hell of a taxidermist.

Allen,

Yeah, work sucks!! Drum gave me the details, but I can only imagine what those deer look like for right now. Buzzy shot the bigger one. He is an awesome taxidermist, and a better person. Both he and Scott were a pleasure to be around. Congrats to both of them as well as Drummond. What a year!

Josh

WOW!!!!!! Congradulations to you and your hunters Drummond! I would have loved to have helped guide any of those bucks.....

Sounds like you guys did quit alright without me...you know I would have went if you needed me..I feel a Sonora Trip coming on in the near future....Only thing is I can't wait to see those pictures....definitely sounds like a banner year for your outfit.....once again, Congradulations to all those involved......Dwayne

Hornseeker: Desert Trophy Hunts is Drummonds company and he is the outfitter. If your friend is used to 150" muleys in mexico then either he has trigger finger fever or he needs to switch outfitters because he should not shoot something that size down there, he can find alot better bucks......Dwayne: It would be great if you go there this next season.......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Do you have a web site? i have been saving up to go to colorado or wyoming, but with the bucks coming out of there i might change my mind. if you dont have a website i would appresate it if you would send me your prices? thanks.
