CWD and older age class bucks

Hmmm....interesting that the rate of infection is much higher for 3+ yr. old bucks in Colorado. I guess it makes sense if the spread of CWD is related to direct contact between deer. Older bucks socialize with many different doe herds every fall.

Makes you wonder if this has been partially responsible for the big buck decline over the last 20 years or so.
