Colorado limited entry? Where to start? Unit 10?
I might not want to wait that long but want a good LE hunt.

If you are starting with no points you might as well just forget it for 2 and 201 under the current preference point system.

Good luck man your never gonna live to see the tag I'm 15 with 3 points going on 4 and I'm giving up and going out of state. My dad drew unit 2 with 15 and it it goes up every year.

Brass, ditto the above. My 13 points for a NR are good for one good tag but not 2, 10, 201. At 47, I either hunt 2 with a bow while I still can, hunt a good unit like 61 or 66 early and only have 5 days to find a good bull or stick with the 2 rifle plan and hope I can still do it when I'm 62.

Uh...so am I. I've already got several points in Colorado, and I will never be able to draw 2, 10, or 201 under the current rules.

Apply everywhere, but don't do it blindly. Be realistic about what you are going after. Starting to build points today in Colorado thinking you will eventually be able to hunt unit 10 is not realistic. I don't think you'd ever be guaranteed to draw it in your lifetime if you were 4 years old.
