A buddy shot this buck a few years ago in Idaho, gross scored 304 and netted 294 4/8" NT. Not sure if anyone had seen this picture or not...

I'm not sure why you aren't able to see the picture, it shows up on my computer. I'll try it again...

WOW, what a buck!

Something was funky with it being a bitmap image and on imagestation as *.jpeg, so I changed it to a bitmap.

niiiice. great buck, but your buddy looks like tim mcgraw after a long night out with jack daniels.
thanks for the pic.

That is a great buck. Isnt that the same buck that was in Trophy Hunter a couple years ago? I remember the guys face for sure. If I remember right, the guy was hunting w/his dad too. He's taken several nice bucks just like this one also. But it's definately a buck of a life time or two.

Droptine

A Lifetime or 1,000,000, is more like it! ;)

I'd probably have too pass on em' though!

Pass Out is more like it. :)

Did it come from Chalis? sorry I couldnt resist that one. That is one helluva buck though.

From what I remember about this deer it was shot on the morning of Oct. 5'th. The first day of the season after more than 50 days of serious scouting on public land during a controlled hunt. This was the guys second choice, he was after a big typical and ran into this guy first. I guess when you actually do some real scouting you can have those kind of choices.

The deer was aged at 9 years old and it was over 280 pounds and it had ivories in it's mouth. The skull on it was nearly twice as big as an average buck. Kinda like comparing Alan Iverson to Shaq.

Andyman read my mind with Johnny Depp! That is one awesome buck! looks like everything forks twice or more...What are the mass measurements?

Arledge is his last name isn't it? HUGE is the only way to describe that deer! Congrats to him

Drum

It was in either Trophy hunter or Eastmans. I'm pretty sure it was trophy hunter a few years back. That drop tine stuff and his hat give it away.

You got it Drum, its Robert Arledge. I was in a NR hunter ed class a few years back and Robert and his dad Jerry were there also. A couple real nice guys. It was right after he killed that big buck and we got to chattin about it. Pretty cool.

HOLY CRAP! now THAT'S a huge muley!
Thanks for the pic!

p.s. Is the author of this post required to pay my hospital bill since I fell out of my chair and hit my head?
:)

Cleaner,

I would have been happy to take care of your medical bill, but for some reason the pictures I posted couldn't be seen. nripepi posted the visible picture, so the liability falls on him. Sorry.

Yes, it is Robert Arledge's 1997 monster, currently #4 in Idaho.

Yikes what a monster!
Think I would need some stain remover if I saw that buck during a hunt.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Best,
Jerry

Andyman took the words right out of my mouth. Looks like he's got a lazy eye though. Hehe, I'd shoot him, but not my dream buck. I LOVE typicals!

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Just WOW. I also remember this buck, but am glad you posted his picture. That really is the stuff my dreams are made of. I am not a typical guy, so bring me one like this guy. The guy looks to me like his arms are tired from holding that rack for the picture. What a tough job.

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!!! I see bucks like that all the time, every night in my dreams. LOL! That is one freakin' huge buck. There is a pic of it in the 11th edition of the B&C Record Book. The black and white photo certainly doesn't do it justice. It's awesome to see a pic of it in colour. Thanks for sharing the pic with us.

Bobcat, I figured as much from you, stirring it up a bit........LOL...........I would love to shoot this trashy monster.........its bigger then a dream buck...... Allen Taylor......
