Justice, you only need to go to the thousands of websites that sell them for your answer. If you are this desperate. Type in a search engine and many, many dealers will pop up. Hell, I will sell you a pair for 2500.00.........LOL...... Allen Taylor......

LAST EDITED ON Feb-07-04 AT 11:31PM (MST)[p]There's a bunch on Ebay. Are you aware Swarovski's warranty is only good for the original owner? I'd guess chances are pretty slim that a guy would ever need warranty work, but $1000.00 or more (used prices) is a lot of money to spend without the comfort of knowing a warranty is in place should you ever need it. It's always griped me that Leica and Swarovksi charge so much for the binos, but they won't cover them for whomever owns them. Now Zeiss on the other hand, will cover them for life, no matter who owns them. I know some guys have said Leica and Swarovski would never leave a person hanging, but I don't know as I'd want to be the test case.

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? The reason I ask is because there's a shop in Orem, Utah (Van Wagenen's) that is an authorized Swarovski dealer, and while they don't currently have any in stock, they were selling the 8/10x42 EL's for $1150.00. I was just in there on Friday, and they had a brand new pair of 10x42 SLC's (with Swarobright) in the cabinet for $959.00. I've personally never been a big fan of Swarovski binos, but there are plenty of guys out there who are. If you're at all interested in the SLC's, that's as good a price as you'll ever see on a new pair.

Good luck.

Hey foreman I live in salt lake, is there anyway you can send a phone number or address to that place for me?

LAST EDITED ON Feb-08-04 AT 01:19PM (MST)[p]Van Wagenen Finance Company, 953 South State, Orem, Utah 84057. The phone number is 226-4488.

The best way to deal with these guys is to know what you want up front and to have the money in hand. Their people skills aren't the best, but their prices generally make up for it. If they don't have exactly what you want, I'm sure they could order it and have it good time.

Van Wagenen Jr, is smug, nascissistic & condescending,
if his old man didn't leave him with a fortunes worth of inventory, he would be working at Deseret Industries(used goods) until they fired him for his irritating voice.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-08-04 AT 10:40PM (MST)[p]I agree. That's why I suggest anyone buying from them goes in knowing what they want with money in hand. That way you're in and out and it's usually pretty painless. The less you have to talk to them, the better. They do a lot of business, but it always makes me wonder what they could do if they knew how to deal with people. Maybe they get their condecending attitude from dealing with all the dope fiends pawning stolen goods for their next fix, or the buttheads who need bonds in the middle of the night, who knows. The one thing I do know is that their prices are hard to beat; although, I've heard several people say they'd rather pay a little more elsewhere rather than dealing with them, but my experiences haven't been nearly that bad.

In fact, I've made some smoking deals in there. A couple of examples are: One time I picked up a stainless/synthetic Remington ADL Mountain Rifle in .270 winchester for $215.00 with bases and rings, and another time I scored a Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5-10x40 without a mark on it for $139.99. If I were in the mrket for a pair of Swarovski binos such as Justice, I'd walk in the door with a $1,000.00 cash and be out within 10 minutes without giving it a second thought.
