UNIT 6B AZ NEED HELP

we drew tags for this unit 9/14 - 9/27 and we have never hunted there before. any one out there that has hunted this area? heard that this is a good unit and we need some advice on where to go. i am not looking for any ones honey hole just some advice. thanks.

My brother has an Archery Antelope tag in there the 2 weeks before your hunt. Anywhere around Rogers Lake is a good place to start. If you want a real tough hunt the closer you get to the Sycamore Canyon the tougher it will be but there are some big bulls in that canyon

Rogers Lake might be good. Keep in mind the navajo army depot has some elk hunts that start before yours. The depot fence runs along the back side of rogers lake, so those elk will already have some pressure before your hunt starts. I would go with Sycamore Canyon like "HullinPhx" said. It is tough, but it has produced some good bulls in the past. Good Luck and do your homework and you will be happy with your hunt.

Am I wrong but I thought down in Sycamore Cyn was only a place that elk wintered and not generally a place where they rut...... No?
