I got me one of those timer/trail/cameras; the Stealthy-Cam brand. Never used one and am curious as to anyones input on the use and best placement. Any tricks from experience would be real good. Any other brand/style would be similar for using advice. Thanks......

Ryan Hatch had an article in his previous issue on trail cameras with some tips. They(MuleyCrazy) also have a trail camera that they offer in their magazine and I believe I also saw it advertised on their website. Most importantly its alot more affordable than most of the other brands. Hope this helped

Yeh, I read that article and that is what pretty much put me into getting one. I sure like that Muley Crazy mag.. It was time to renew my Trophy Hunter sub. and I decided not to, instead going with Muley Crazy.

A good choice, however I also like the Eastmans magazines, they are top quality as well-happy hunting

I set it up out back on a tree by the pond and did the 1 hour at Wal-mart. I have to get the 'angle' of the photo down and the night photo's where okay. Lots of racoons around the pond at night, more than I ever thought! The day photo's where fine. I guess I'll just keep practicing until I get my 'angle' more level and distance covered more to my liking. Thanks for the info.
