Want to Purchase "How to Find Giant Bucks" by Kirt Darner

I wondered if anyone has a copy of the book "How to find Giant Bucks" by Kirt Darner they would want to sell.

I have tried to contact Kirt himself but the number that is listed for his Outfitting business is not correct. So I have been unable to contact him direct. I'm not sure he would have any copies to sell anyhow.

If anyone would like to sell their copy to me, please contact me. My email address is [email protected] I realize what this book is worth to a collector but I only want it to read it for the knowledge and information that it may contain.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS - If anyone knows of a bookstore or anybody else that may have copies for sale that would also be appreciated. I have already looked on Amazon.com and they want $ 150 for the book. Didn't really want to spend that much but I really want to read the book. Thanks in advance for you help.

That one on Amazon.com is probably your closest bet in obtaining a copy.

I PICKED UP A COPY OF THE BOOK LAST WEEK ON EBAY FOR $81.00 PLUS SHIPPING YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK ON EBAY EVERY NOW AND THEN I'VE SEEN A COUPLE OF COPIES ON THERE BUT THEY ARE HARD TO FIND OR PEOPLE JUST DONT WANT TO GET RID OF THEM. THE BOOK IS AWESOME!!!! I ALSO GOT AN OLDER MULE DEER BOOK BY JIM BOND, SIGNED EDITION. YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK AROUND IT TOOK ME ALONG TIME TO FINALLY GET MY HANDS ON A COPY.

A place in Montrose, Colorado called 'The Buck Stop' had a signed copy in very good shape for $100 about a month ago.

It is also a great place to stop and look a 50-60 trophy mule deer mounts

Muleystalker, was the book you purchased on Ebay last week the one that was autographed by Kirt and sent to the publisher at Petersons Hunting Magazine, Craig Boddington? If it was than was me that you outbid for the book. I didn't realize how much the book would go for so I set my maximum for $ 75. Congradulations on being the winning bidder.

I will keep watching ebay if the Buck Stop doesn't have it to sell.

BeanMan, thanks again for the tip... just wanted to let you know that I purchased the book at the Buck Stop. The copy that I purchased was in mint condition and autographed. Mike the owner wondered how I found out that he had a copy for sale and I told him that a fellow by the handle of BeanMan on Monstermuleys.com referred me to his store.

The only reason it is still there is that my Wife wouldn't let me buy it since I had already gotten a few good toys for Christmas.

Geez, I'm glad I went through this search a couple years ago. Sounds like the price has been going up.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I talked to Kirt's wife a couple years ago when I was hunting a copy. She said they don't have any copies.

It's a good book - probably the best. His second book is pretty good too.
