I have lucked out and received an invitation to hunt deer and or elk on a private ranch east of McCall,ID and am propspecting for info. What do you think of this area as far as quality and quantity? The owner has told me there are some tremendous elk and decent deer but that they seldom even hunt deer! I am obviously a non-res and my hunt will not be until the 2005 season but I want to get started on acquiring some knowledge of the area.
