...it's the 23rd and they are late again. Late with posting sheep, goat and moose results this year and now it looks that way with elk.

Come on - I wanna know if I drew muzzy!!!

Patience with incompetence at the CDOW... why??

We all are required to send the CDOW big $$$ by a certain date or be completely left out. We all meet that date. And they haven't made one big-game posting date yet this year.

This is called poor performance, plain and simple!! Who's running this show!

The incentive is to delay the drawing. They are earning interest on that money daily. Most always, follow the money.

I am dissapointed too, but I also want them to get it right. 2 days, I can wait.

FYI, I am pretty sure that they are not allowed to earn interest on the money during the drawing process. That in itself seems dumb to me. If they were allowed to earn interst, it would possibly keep price increases down.

Are you serious? With the thousands of applicants they have to run through your going to cry about two days? So they are running a bit behind. Big deal. If you can do it better, go do it. Quit complaining. Is there a reason you have to know today and can't wait till friday? Or do you think that because it was projected to be out today means it has to be out today? There are not guarantees on dates. I highly doubt the making interest BS flies anyways. I am sick of everybody whining because draw results are delayed a few days, or problems arise, or this or that. Lets hang all the G&F employees and start our own draw system. GET OVER IT.

Colorado Wildlife does a great job with the draw. They ask you for a daytime phone number so they can call you if they think you made a mistake on your application. They would be on time if they just threw these applications away. They do their best every year.

Checked the other day and I was drawn for an archery tag for a CO draw area. The exercise has begun already and starting to shoot the bow in preparation. Planning on going for last two weeks of season and September can't come soon enough. Good luck to all...

I am going solo, and I have 2 solid weeks to hunt so I am going to make the best of it.

I am working out 7 times a week and down to 162 lbs of solid muscle, 6' tall. Although the way I see it the better shape you are in the longer you can torture yourself and climb. In bad shape you climb 1/4 mile and quit, good shape you climb 2 miles (long hard work) then kill an elk and have to get it down. HHMMM maybe better stop working out and have some donuts. NOT!

That's a very good point BowTecher.

I drew muzzy cow... it will be my first time to use a muzzy and it's been a LONG time since I've hunted anywhere near or in the real rut. I'm excited!
