Unit 40 Muzz

On my advice, a good friend put in for and pulled this unit in Colorado. He has a window this fall with his boy's college schedule and wanted a tag, any tag. He didn't care if he burned 8 pts., he just wanted to go elk hunting with his boy.
Now I feel obligated to help him out on the research and scouting side of things.
We knew there was a lot of private. What I'm hoping to do is talk with someone who has a good feel for the unit and its public and private make-up.

I've hunted over in 40 the last three fall seasons; Seperate Season rifle Bull on my Mrs tag a bow bull and 3rd year on a bud's mzzy bull tag.

I guess I am somewhat familiar with some of the unit.

I have no problem sharing some intel with you as I didn't draw my 40 bow bull (1 pt stretch!) this year.
