This is a picture of a buck that my father-in-law's dad killed a number of years in ago in South-Central Utah. I came across it in my father-in-law's basement not too long ago and could not believe my eyes! He allowed me to take it, clean it up and score it. The gross score on this buck is 200 3/8 typical and nets 193! It is 33 inches wide with 27 and 26 inch main beams. I think this buck would score pretty high in the Utah record books.

Nice typical buck! The answer to your question is No it can't be officially entered into the books. My uncle has one that he shot in the late 60's that scores around 278 non-typical points. He shot it in the head with a 30-30 so he wouldn't ruin the meat. Cracked the skull plate therefore it could never be entered into the books.

Thats a monster. If i ever get a good camera i will post some pics of all my dads bucks that are in my garage. They all are at least 28 wide. And my dads buck that is mounted is 36 wide and my grandpas just has the horns cut off and it is 40 wide. And how long ago did that buck get killed?
