Best bullet/factory round..?

Federal premimum safari, 180 gr, I think it is a swift a-frame bullet. I have shot many with this load, Works great.

I've had good luck with Winchester Supreme Failsafes in 180 gr. The bullet performs well on game and shoots extremely well in my rifle. Definitely stick with a premium bullet, beyond that its just a matter of finding the ammo that shoots best in your rifle.

If I were going to use factory ammo I'd go with the Federal Premium 180 gr Barnes MRX, TSX or Nosler Partition. any of those are as good as it gets for elk. that's my opinion, oughta be yours.

What do you think is better, the MRX or the Accubond. I have shot the accubond and they shoot very well out of my rifle. It doesn't look like there is much of a difference in either according to federals ballistic charts. NMHS

The new Winchester XP3 is a killin' machine. Copper front half, lead core. Polycarb tip, Boattail. Go with the Factory 180gr Winchester Supreme Elite Ammo. Great weight retention, excellent expansion, deep penetration. You won't be sorry. C.C.

nmhs, If the Accubond shoots well out of your rifle, you are already where you need to be. It is a great bullet, and since it is accurate for you, why change? mtmuley
