Could someone please explain to me how to get pictures to come up. Most pictures you guys post show up with your post. But some only show up as a small white box with a red X. If I right click on the red X and pick "show picture" nothing happens. Please help!
Thank You
Bill

A lot of it depends on what program is used to post the picture and what program you have to open it. I have found on those that have the red X, I can right click, go to properties, highlight the address of the picture, then copy and paste it into you address line, then hit go, and it usually comes up. It is a pain, but sometimes you have to go thru it to see some of the photos... anybody else have any other ways to pull them up easier....

I noticed that on some of my posts, when I first post it they come up fine, then a few days later I get the red x until I do the right click properties thing then go to that link. Then the pic comes up, weird.

If you are using Sony's Imagestation.com they have a clause that posting outside their website to another site such as here. Some of the members who are posting alot of pictures have already been cancelled and can not view.
Hunt101.com might show up as a white/red x box too unless this is added at the end of URL address.

Try switching over to Photobucket.com as there is no problems there at all and easy to use.

P.S. Can't get the part to show up but it is "img"with the symbol lower case just to the right of the letter P on your keyboard. One in front and the other behind it.

Photo Buckett seems to work the best. You have to use the img tags like Brian said. it will look someting like this

(img)your picture URL address goes here(/img)

type it like that except with out the spaces between the img tags and the URL, and instead of ( ) around the img and /img tags use the key to the right of the p on your keyboard the square brackets. I did that just so they would show up. The nice thing with photo bucket is that they give the whole thing, all you have to do it copy past it into your post. Like such.

Hope this helps.
