Just wondering which of these camos you guys prefer. Nobody carries this stuff in Texas so I'll have to order by mail - kind of hard to tell much about it just looking at it on the computer. Will be hunting shinnery covered sandhills in Texas and pinon/sagebrush in N.M.. Anybody got any preferences on these camos?

I have the desert shadow camo and I think it works great. I have used it in eastern Washington in mixed trees, brush, open fields, and sagebrush. And in central Montana.

I think that they will all do well but if I am not mistaken Bura (Alan Taylor) is a rep for Truesage and I know he speake very highly of it. You might want to send him an email.

None of the above. Cotton fabric washed more than once reflects too much light and stands out. Light weight wool is the best and I think fleece is probably second best. I think your are better off with wool even if its not camo than cotton camo that seems to "shine" in sunlight.

That's a great point BUCKSPY. That's why True Sage is 100% Polyester. You wouldn't believe how quiet and dull it gets after one washing. My vote is for www.truesage.com

I bought some Sage Country Camo fairly cheap on Ebay and it seems to work out nicely. I usually hunt desert and lowland areas with a lot of sage so this type of camo works good.

I have some Prairrie Ghost and even with the UV killer it still shines too much in open country under full light, but dang I like it... desert shadow, or cabela's seclusion I find that I like now. I wear wool if I can get away with it, woolrich and sleeping indian are top choices.

Here in idaho i think that Desert Shadow works the best but i also like truesage i think it is a tie
