Would you guys use your tag on a whitetail buck to try and keep them out of your favorite mulie areas? Why or Why not?

This is assuming that your tag is for "deer" , not just mulies.

I think I would shoot a good Whitetail if I had an any deer tag.

If I find a nice Whiletail in Montana this year I will take him. i got a nice Mule deer last year and a Whitetail would be just fine.

I was trophy hunting for big mulies in an area here in Washington, and as I was hiking into the area, I stood a 165 gross whitie up out of his bed. The satellite 125 sliced perfectly through his heart at 30 yards. One fat September whitetail in the freezer. He was at about 5800 feet. Pretty high for whities here in Wa. I won about 500 bucks on him in a big buck contest.
