My understanding is that it is a lifetime warrenty, should anything happen they will replace them without charge. On mine I lost the eyecap and they sent out a replacement right away.I had great customer service.

Swarovski comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, whatever that means. I called them several days ago because I had lost my objective lens cover for my spotting scope. They asked me for my address and said they'd send one out right away. My warranty registration had not even gotten to them in the mail yet because I asked. But she didn't even ask or mention wether or not I had an American warranty. I was told by the salesman where I bought my scope that it is a 10 year warranty but they seem to honor it on glass whose warranty is way past 10 years old. Pretty cool company. My next optic buy will be Swarovski just for that reason. fatrooster.

Don?t mean to be rude but don't you think that a Co. that charge's as much as Swarov's, that they would have the best guaranty on the market...?

I agree Manny and I'm sure that they figure this into the cost of the glass. I will tell you one thing though. I honestly don't think that I have ever had a more pleasurable experience dealing with any company ever! They truley are number 1 in my book. I think they have sent me 6 swarovski iron on patches with a letter just confirming that I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. They include a 1-800 number just in case I have any questions or concerns. Each time I talked to them before I decided to buy Swarovski they were more than happy to help me in every way. Well worth the extra bucks in my opinion.

The best example of Swarovski's service that I heard of came from a buddy of mine. His dog chewed up his binocs and destroyed the rubber coating. He sent them to Swarovski and expected a bill for the repair. What he got was a brand new pair of binocs and in the package were some dog bisquits and a note saying he should probably give his dog these and put his binocs in a safer place. That is service. I will only purchase Swarovski optics. They are well worth the extra dollars in quality and especially in service.

You have a point there manny about expensive binocs should have a great warranty. But the quality is there too. And to me its worth it to pay the extra money because in 10 years from now if my dog eats the rubber coating off of them I know that I might get a new pair. fatrooster.
