Overall a descent unit for deer, much better for elk. Lots of 170ish class bucks, some bigger, most smaller. Easy hunting country with good access. What season?
Did not have enough pts for the last season so I put in for the one just prior. I don't remember the exact dates off hand. Hoping to see some elk while we are there. This will be my partner's and my 1st attempt at mule deer so any tips and advice would be appreciated. We have been archery elk hunting for the past 10 years and have finally decided we needed to book a 2nd hunt on top of our archery elk hunts and decided this might be a good one.
