Pictures to follow this October. I am so stoked right now, I just found out I got drawn for Moose, and I have to figure out how I'm going to hunt Deer and moose at the same time. WHOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the moose tag. I had the pleasure of taking my 81 year old grandpa on a moose hunt a few years ago in unit 76.
It was GREAT! It was a 1 day hunt, and it made him feel like he was a kid again. He is now gone, so I cherish that hunt like no other. Good luck on your bull. I'm sure you'll find a nice one.

I'm excited for other reasons as well. I had the fortune of getting my Washington tag two years ago, and it was a wonderful experience with my Dad. His time is getting short, and I'm looking forward to another "Once in a lifetime " hunt with him.

I think so. I guess I better start shooting more. I put her down and haven't shot for some time. Time to get tuned up. Gosh I'm excited! Its really hard to think of anything else here at work.

i wish i had a moose tag last year!! i was up hunting in unit 1 last year with my cousin and we saw a #@!$ load of moose. we saw 42 in one day with 4 bulls that we estimated at around 47-50 in wide!! to bad we were hunting deer. i saw my first nothern muley up there too it was a lot differnt looking than the ones down south its antlers were thick and short with little points. but never got a shot off at him

Don't say things like that, I'm already having trouble containing myself. I sent you a pm begging for information if you would. Were you after whities, or mule deer. You are right in your description of the mule deer. THey do look different. Usually alot darker too.

From the end of August to the end of November. I'll probably hunt it in October. November would be fun chasing whitetails, but I'd rather have my expensive moose in the freezer by then. I'll probably make a couople scouting trips in September, and hit it hard in October while they are rutting. Its fun calling them in.
