Steamboat Summer Trip

Howdy fellas. I'm taking a trip with the family (the whole family? it's a reunion) this July to Steamboat. I was thinking that it would be a great opportunity to take my boy out and find some bucks and bulls in velvet. Do any of you have any suggestions of places to go show him some big muleys or bulls? I promise to post the horn porn if I get some good pictures. By the way, this is not a sly way of finding a good hunting spot. Too far from Austin to make a hunting trip up there.

My family is heading to that area in late July. Planning on spending a few days in Rocky Mountain National Park and then in the Flattops around Meeker. Should be plenty of critters in both to find.

Rock Mountain National Park rocks! We spent a week in Grand Lake a few years ago, and I LOVED it! What amazing country!! Animals of all sorts!

I'm jealous! Enjoy!
