LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-04 AT 00:15AM (MST)[p]Hello,

I live in Colorado and I thought you might enjoy these photos of some "town bucks" that like to raid my bird feeder. Kind of ironic to spend several days fruitlessly hunting the high country, only to come home to these guys napping in the grass. I did get my first elk last season but did not get a chance at a decent muley. These shots were taken last August.

Anybody got a guess on what the first buck might score?

Great pics, we have deer like that all over in town. We wake up to go out for the day and they lay in the front yard as we leave.

I assume them pictures are from last year? Do they have that much growth already? Nice looking bucks.

Not quite as fun shooting them in the backyard. Too bad you can't get them to shed there. I had the topic backyard bucks (about 3 pages back) These would have fit in perfectly.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

Super pics, Don. Thanks for sharing. I hope the deer are still around this year. Welcome and keep sending those pics.

I live near Ridgway actually, south of Montrose. I am happy to have found this site. I am determined to kill a nice muley this coming season and I have picked up some good tips already. Got my tag for unit 65 and have been scouting hard since spring. Found some great sheds recently. I have been in Colorado less than 2 years and have always hunted whitetail. Mule deer are a very different animal I have discovered.
