wmidbrook, I don't believe they will charge your credit card even if you are successful in the draw.

Ya, tags are not just sent out in Oregon. If you draw you have to contact them at the offices or a POS machine to buy. Also, you have to get it bought before your season starts or your SOL.

Same here, I have checked and nothing as of 8:30am. I will be keeping my fingers crossed. Our party has apps in for Ukiah and Desolation as well a doe hunt on the west side. What units is everyone else hoping for?

Yeah for me this year, here is what me and my dad drew:

Deer; Desolation Unit - this will be my 4th year in past 6 years to hunt here so looking forward to going back.
Elk; dad, 1st season Starkey spike only, me I got lucky - I hope. Used 6 preference points and drew a 1st season Starkey any elk tag. Will hope for a nice bull - or any for that matter that is bigger than spike, which is biggest I have ever taken. Hope everyone else is getting their 1st choices, congrats to all that draw, good hunting!

Well, I drew nothing but points across the board. Hope someone else got what they were hoping for. I'm just waiting on AZ and WA now, gonna say my prayers and keep my fingers crossed.

Well we drew Desolation Bull, Lookout Mtn. Buck, Willamette One Deer, and Scappoose Antlerless. I didn'nt draw my Antelope with 9 prefernce points. I guess next year I will get to hunt the speed goats of the Steens. Now I just need to figure out where to hunt in the Willamette Unit. Any tips?

My partners and I drew Lookout Mtn. Buck as well. Have not heard of anyone drawing an antelope tag or sheep tag yet.

Well, my brother and I drew Lookout Mtn. buck also. That's 3 posts in a row with that tag! No elk or antelope, but we didn't expect to draw either of those this year anyway. With 4 elk points, we hope to draw a good elk tag next year.

twokids, we live in southwest Washington, and no we have never hunted there before. But we're planning on at least 2 scouting trips down there this summer. Can't wait to check it out!

Drew E. Whitehorse for buck deer and nothing on elk, antelope, sheep, and goats. I'm still waiting for their phone call telling me they screwed up and that I did draw a sheep tag.. Most of my buddies who have drawn antelope tags have been with about 11 pref. points.
