He's creeping around here somewhere.... He replied to the 'definition of a trophy' post yesterday.

Definitely unlike him to keep such a low profile though. ;-) Likely just trying to give some others a chance to close in on his post count (LOL).

I havent spent much time here in the last few weeks, I have two boys in baseball and have been out in the woods chasing elk. I signed on yesterday and saw what 30Inch buck posted and it ticked me off a bit. Trophy is defined for the most part by the hunter and I am going through what a trophy is to my wife right now. She has passed on a few bulls now that in hind sight she knows now she should have taken. I am thoroughly enjoying trying to juggle our schedules and get her out in the woods knowing that she is like alot of other first timers that without help she wouldnt get a shot let alone glass up animals. I saw 30Inch's post and know that unless you are on the hunt with the person, its very hard to say how hard the person worked for his/her animal. Hope all is well with you Bucksnort and if you are on the Kaibab this year then maybe we can hook up. I will be up there for the late hunt and possibly for the Juniors doe hunt for my son.........take care........ Allen Taylor......

Hey Bura, are you just going to drop your son off in the Kaibab for a week with nothing but a book of matches and a pocket-knife? Otherwise, is won't be trophy.

nmtaxi, good intelligent comment. Let's move to another thread and start making cracks. Bura Nut, hunting elk in June? Now that's a trophy. LOL!!!!! Let's enter that one in the books.LOL!!! At least wait and hunt during a normal season. As far as I'm concerned you might as well shoot a moo cow in your backyard. LOL!!!! I can see now why you didn't respond to my questions in the other thread.

30Inch: It's pretty obvious to most that you are very opinionated without any substance. You dont understand how to take advantage of opportunities when they arise but expect others to respond to un-intelligent questions you ask. In addition to this illogical thinking you also make it worse by being proud of your ignorance. I didn't know reduction tags were issued for bull elk in June that's a new one to me. Bura just didn't answer my question in the other thread and seemed to do it over here. My above posts are a little harsh and I'm sorry but I can't take them back now. You are a moderator and I give you permission to erase my above 2 posts if you want to. I'll be the first to admit it when I'm wrong. Sorry to you and Bura. What unit in Arizona is it for? I can't believe there is a reduction hunt for bull elk in June. Good luck to Bura's wife and I hope she gets a nice bull.

Wow, I didn't know that asking where Allen has been would open up a can of worms.Seems like it would be more resourcefull to spend energy scouting for the upcoming hunts than to sit here bickering at each other.

Bura, I wont be at the Kaibab this year but I plan on being there for next years archery hunt.Good luck to you and your wife on her hunt.
