i am really excited. I got my region H deer tag. I am a little intimidated though. I have never done this type of thing alone before. I am from Tennessee. Lots of reading and studying, but of course, not real experience. I want to camp out, and maybe sneak into the wilderness area , even though i know im not supposed to, and i will be alone. Not real far in, but a little bit. I am 27 and in good shape, i am confident i should be ok. I hunted the Gilette area last fall with an outfitter, but i know this will be alot different. I am going to get a GPS, to help me find the truck.

If i camp out in the field, how cool will it get in late sept?

What area should i hunt? I really want to go with the best odds. I mean good quantity of deer. I would rather take a smaller deer than return empty handed.
Thanks for the input

Region H is not really my location, however I can tell you that it can get pretty cold up top (snow) in September so bring lights and heavys so you can hunt in the differnt and ever changing Wyoming weather. Congrats and good luck!
