Just found out we drew a Statewide Kansas archery tag. Yeah baby!!!

I was 0 for 6 in NM finally I have something to look foward to!

Congrats on the Tags fellas

Hunting these eastern deer are alot easier than the western whitetail. One thing about it thier not dink-dog-deer . We've managed to take a couple of bucks the last couple of years with a smokepole and a rifle. The mature bucks push 300 pounds.

Does anyone have an idea on when the ruts at it's peek in central KS? Tring to set up a week hunt. We want to hit it just right.
