great day scouting

Went scouting on a public land unit here in Southern Utah last Saturday and seen over 20 bucks from the time the sun came up till about 11:00 a.m when I headed for home. It was encoraging to see so many bucks, but what was more exciting was the antler growth. About 3/4 of the bucks were 3 point or better, with 4 of them shooters and one being a very big buck. This is one of the knew areas I've been scouting, so my research and scouting are starting to pay off. My problem is, I've seen a good number of good bucks in 3 different areas, and so its hard too narrow my choices . So you guys that are complaing about no more big bucks, I say get out and scout knew areas, do a little research, and your eyes will be opened to some friutful oppurtunities.

Yeah, you're seeing all the deer that had there butts tucked in real tight last year. Good for you. Hope you whack a big un this season to make up for the skunk season I had last year in Southern Ut.
