elk on the wasatch front

i've been deer hunting the wasatch front for many years and have seen and heard elk alot. this year they must have dropped to the bottom, but i saw a dead carcass, that i hope was quartered out and shot legally, this year. does any one have advice on where to go? i'll be hunting towards boutiful and farmington.

Good luck! Elk are very scarce in that part of the front.......

I lived along the Wasatch up until last year, the last year I lived there I had a 6x5 and a small herd of cows cross the road in front of me when I was on top of Farmington Canyon by the towers, I was up there grouse hunting. I found a lot of sign of elk through out the canyon dropping back into the city of Farmington. The elk are there, just proably not that many!


Work to hunt!! Live to hunt!! And the rest spent keeping the wife happy!!
