LAST EDITED ON Sep-04-07 AT 03:27PM (MST)[p]Anyone have any information on the Boulder Unit. Have been down twice to the unit and spent several days and get the perception that it is a pretty tough unit to scout. Been down Northeast of Antimony this weekend and it looks good in a couple of spots. HAs anyone run into any big bulls in the spike hunt? Any tips on generally good areas during the peak of the rut? My tag is from the 15th of Sept to the 25th. Should be awesome. Just trying to get all the info I can. It is one big mountain. I have also been around McGrath Lake and up on top of the Plateau. Aboce Mcgrath looks pretty good but right now I am focusing on the Southwest side of the unit. The northeast side of the Plateau looks really elky also but this is one big unit and kind of overwhelming to try and look it all over. Any tips appreciated. 1st time poster long time hunter and tournamnet shooter. Will be bowhunting in the any weapon season. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

Well your looking the wrong way my freind. One of the best units and you should be finding great bulls. Hint.. Though it may look like "elky country" Dont be fooled!

Just spent 4 days over there and the elk were just starting to go really good when I had to come home. I was hunting with my family and we saw big bulls every day, 340 class and up.

Give me a PM and I might could help you out a little.
