Binoculars/Spotting Scope

I have a pair of Burris 8x42 binos which I love-very clear optics. I need something with some more magnification for a mule deer hunt I'm going on this year. Should I get a pair of 10x50s or choose a spotting scope? I back pack in and need something lightweight? Any suggestions?

Steve,

There a quite a few post lingering around about spotters, so do a search and you'll get lots of goodies.
In my opinion, it depends on your hunting set-up. If you predominantly glass, then a spotter and good tripod would do the trick, if your on the move then look into a 10x40 bino. From bottom to top i'd go Bausch & lomb bottom discoverer (low) Khales 10x40 (mid) and the swaro's can be beat in My opinion on the top shelf.

Good luck.
