I just got back to town with my bull from the Fishlake. I got him Tuesday morning at 9:30 after following him and him harem into a canyon where they bedded down. He wasn't really responsive to cow calls so my brother-in-law Kent bugled at him and he screamed back at us. We worked down the ridge above where we thought he was at and bugled again. He screamed from about a hundred yards straight below us. We snuck down on him to 30 yards where we could see a pine tree being brutally destroyed by this guy. I snuck 13 more yards and waited for him to present me a broadside 17 yard shot. I hit him behind the front shoulder but a little high. We waited for an hour before we followed him up. One hundred yards later he was done. Then it took us a day and half to get him completely out. Sorry I am not with the times yet to have pictures but when I get my film developed I will post. We roughly taped him at 330. What a awesome hunt it was. Good luck to all who have tags and congratulations to all who have scored on animals this year. There's nothing better than hunting big bulls.
