fishlake-worst of limited entry units?

LAST EDITED ON Sep-08-07 AT 01:06PM (MST)[p]was lookin for opinions from you guys on if you think fishlake limited entry bull elk rifle is the worst unit when comparing number of bulls and big bulls (370+) to the other limited entry units such as pahvant, monroe, beaver etc. Has anyone seen this quality of bull on fishlake unit or is it still an up and coming unit that needs a few more years.

fish lake holds some monsters. maybe not quite the quantity but definitly has the quality! oh my we have seen some monsters while deer hunting and scouting.

I truly believe that a 400" bull will be taken off of this unit this year. I have a muzz tag and do not regret it at all. If I kill a 350 bull I will still not regret it.

The bulls up here are amazing. I was up last night and they were screaming like CRAZY. I saw over 20 bulls just last night!

I do not think the pure numbers are there that used to be there, but in NO WAY is it the worst of the LE...........that is just CRAZY! BUt if you want to think that, then just stay away and leave it for the ones that enjoy this unit!!!!!!

i agree with fishlake elk hunter there are some good bulls on the fishlake you just have to find them my cuz shot one last year that was 360 something and he would have been better if he wasnt broke.

thanks for the opinions.Leaving in 2 days to scout fishlake before the hunt starts saturday.Starting to get excited because i heard the bulls are starting to bugle pretty good. Hope we can find a good bull

So NV380 does this mean that you already have a tag for the FL this year, and you were just trying to yank everyones chain? If you have a tag goodluck, because like you said it is a pretty poor unit.

yeah castemblastem just trying to stir the pot a little. Yes we drew the fishlake unit and we are leaving today to go look for a {raghorn}. My family has been hunting the area for over 30 years so we have a good idea what to expect. Good luck to everyone who drew tags.
