Nevada vs Taulman

Instead of 10% as he originally sued for, Mr. Taulman now wants 50% of ALL big game tags in the state of Nevada. He is also suing for lost income and business opportunities. Why such an increase now? Greed perhaps? Nevada already gives 10% of its tags to non-residents... hmmm...

Question for all the USO Outfitter fans: Now you know Mr. Taulman's intentions, how can you still support him? Money first, big game last, and we all lose. It's a sad day for all of us. USO Outfitters should change their slogan to "QUANTITY hunts for quality hunters."

I would like to know what you think.

Who can prove that? I still only see that they only want to discuss non resident tags!
(every state does that)
Wait for the press release "Then" its offical!
And that GUY ZIM- how funny that hes pushing all your buttons,(really pi$$ed off some)and you guys let him!(be smarter than the east coast guy!) BOYCOTT ZIM TOO!
Before he talks about his Buffalo hunt in Utah and got his
info by being the nice guy, then rubs all of us the wrong way(nice and sneaky!gotta be USO!).
He also posted his face and his hunt! how smart?
Just remember his children might be their(hes going to be watching his back I think a lot!).

GOOD HUNTING!
Off to the rifle range! hunting start 4 1/2 weeks and counting!

I wonder if USO will be suing their homestate of New Mexico, which has a cap of 10% for NR's who do not wish to hire an outfitter. They probably won't do that until thay have gotten there way with the other quality Elk & deer States first.

NM has been sued several times in the last ten years. I do not remember how much USO played in them. A suit removed the cap on sheep, oryx or ibex. The response was to raise prices($3000 sheep tags). Of course, with the credit card application, raising prices does not do much. They had a points system and it was ruled against. They were sued to raise the percentage to 22%, and were going to make it outfitter only for nonresidents, but settled on the 10% unguided/12% guided split. Anyway, nonresidents probabally get close to 50% of the more desirable bull elk tags in NM, counting landowner ones.
