Not good news going on there. I got freinds that live up williams conyon and they left last night. I wonder if they are going to shut down the woods like they did in 94. That is some of my favorite bow hunting areas in the late season not sure, about it this year. Any dibs on how far this thing is going to run before it gets shut down.

duck....not familiar with Williams canyon, is that the one near Naches? There are so many going on can't keep em' straight.

Sorry to hear you got friends up there, its going to burn a lot of good hunting grounds i think before its all said and down. Well i am sure it will go over he Entiat ridge and work its way through all of my hunting grounds. Then jump th enitat river burn to the Pot peak complex and then they wil change the name to NCW Complex and use the the lake and then columbia as their new fire lines!!!!

You can monitor the fire on www.pnw3.com/fischer_fire/ or www.or.blm.gov/nwcc/. It is being called the fischer fire.

The former even has up to date topo maps on the fires progress.

Lets hope they get it under control soon. As you probably know, fires in that neck of the woods can travel a long ways and burn a lot of country.
