How do the 10/42 cascade or olympic, compare to the other brands..
I know the swarovski boys will have alot to say but I'm
not made of money.....

I have the Wind River 10x42s and I love 'em. They weren't too much money and they seem to be clear enough for me.

I have the wind river 8 x 42 olympics and love 'em. My buddy has the 10 x's and if I could purchase them over I would have gotten the 10 x's.

I bought a pair of Wind River 10x50s about three years ago. Really liked them, but I cracked the plastic ring inside one of the eyecups and it came off too easy. Sent it in for repair this summer. What do you think Leupold did? They sent me a brand new pair of the newer model Olympic 10x50s about a week or two later. You have to pay a lot more to get better glasses in my opinion. Can't beat their surface.

I have a pair of the 12x50 olimpic's. I have had them for about 6 months. So far they have been great.

What's better? 10X42's, or 12X50's? and why?

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

I know a site where you can order a pair of pinnacle's top of the line for leupold, for $289.00.retail $400.00..drop me an P.M if you wanna know who has 'em i got a pair on the way...later...

My hunting buddy has 10x42 wind rivers and loves them. I personally would not go bigger then 10x. Anything bigger tends to get to heavy. Now that being said....IMHO, I own the Zeiss 10x40 classics and have not look through a better pair of bino's that didn't cost a 1000 dollars.

manny15, what's the big secret? Please post the web-site. I know several guys who would love a pair of pinnacles for under $300.00.
