Utah Muleys - 1st rifle hunt

I used to bowhunt the area around the Bear River/Elizabeth Mountain/Christmas Meadows of Norther Utah some years back. Have decided to bring my daughter up to the same area for her first mule deer rifle hunt this October. We are both serious whitetail hunters, but this is our first try at rifle hunting muleys. Not sure how to compare early season bowhunting with the rifle season as far as deer movement patterns are concerned. Any hints would be appreciated.

we have hunted that area for Archery Deer and rifle in October
unfortunatley the deer move out for the most part to Wyoming by the time rifle season opens... you will find some straglers but not very many.
