Great Buck thanks for posting!

Little shallow on his forks though IMHO.

Picture must be deceiving. Doesnt look 33 inches and doesnt look like a booner. Front view? Nice buck regarless, congrats

Looks like a 33" Booner to me! Side view is kind if decieving. Looks like you have taken some great deer. Good to have your input on here!

nice buck, thirty...i like both your pics and am looking forward to seeing many more. i love seeing other folks' hunting pics. keep'em coming...thank you

LAST EDITED ON Aug-24-04 AT 09:17AM (MST)[p]You guys sure are quick to jump on a buck and cut him down. Before anyone wants to stick the proverbial foot in their mouth, I can tell you that buck IS 33" and IS a "Booner". He's in my book "Idaho's Greatest Mule Deer." By the way, the man who posted the picture is an official B&C scorer, so I'll bet you he's right on this one.
How are you Larry? Still got my November whitetail tied to a tree for me? Still love that picture. Wish I could have hunted with you back then.

Great buck...great picture. I hope you don't let these guys humble opinions keep you from posting more. Thanks for sharing.

idahonative....I wish I could have hunted with him back then too.:)

I think that buck is a little bigger than "high 170"

Thanks for posting a great pic of a tremendous buck!!!! Looks like it was "back in the day"...keep the pics coming!

SKUNKTERD, I guess you haven't seen many big bucks in your life.
I'am really sorry about that.Maybe you should buy Idaho's Greatest Mule Deer and see what big bucks really look like. I see by your profile you pee standing.I don't think so!

Idahonative,Yea I still have that big buck tied up. You make sure you get a hold of me around the first of November And we will go and get one of those bruisers. Hey, Congradulations on your new job! Be talking to you.Larry

I haven't seen very many big bucks either so I think you should take me up to your hunting area and show me some. JK those are some nice looking bucks and keep posting pictures. How many 30 inchers do you have.

IF YOUR GOING TO BE A BEAR BE A GRIZZLY BEAR!

Manny15,buck was taken in southeastern Idaho in 1981 in pumpkin creek!

Craig, Ihave been lucky enough to have taken 17 over 30inches. When I outfitted in southern Idaho our clients took 47 over thirty and 3 over forty. Over 40 years of hunting and twenty guiding. There is still a few of them out there!

IdahoNative, hey dude, who cut him down besides skunkterd?

Besides, he's not very well regarded on this site from what I've seen. Everybody else who commented on the buck gave it a praise. Did anybody discredit the hunter? No. Hell, I've yet too see a buck like that on the ground. All I said is that for a Booner, he looks a little shallow on the forks. It's probably the picture, but that's my opinion, and it really doesn't matter a whole lot what I think.

thirtyincher, please keep posting your awesome pictures! I know since you've been posting the site has really picked up (it might also be that it's almost/is hunting season). Thanks.

We should all have a big get together at his house, maybe he could set up a slide show and tell stories all day. I'd help dust off his mounts too.:)
