Yea Brian. The following year my guides and I found over9 bucks over thirty that didn't make it. Although ,the hunting season in 93 wasn't as bad as everybody said. We took 8 bucks that year over thirty and one over 40.But we did lose alot of deer.

There was three of us that hunted over in the Greys river area and then came back over to Montpelier for deer. It was real bad where we were hunting, saw only a few does.
A fella we met there from around here knew where to hunt but even he said he hadn't seen it that bad before. We were more to the east of town and north.

Brian, I have talked with some of my guides that use to work for us and they said Larry there are still some great bucks in my old honey holes but fewer.I know if I would go back down there with a little time I could find one of those old mossyhorns. I think now you are better off going on the muzzeloader hunt. It is late enough that you might cath them down on thier winter ground and still be able to catch the rut.
