if someone ones to leave me there email, or send it to my email, that can post pictures, I got a picture of a buck harvested here in Idaho that is 27 3/4 wide 22 tall 5x7 that grosses 202. I just hope it isn't the pig i've been chasing for 3 years, I don't think it is..I still think grey ghost is bigger, I'll tell you in a couple weeks if it is or not. Anyways, help me out, so i can share this beauty.

Beautiful buck. Congrats. There sure are some hogs being taken in the archery hunts this year.

hey thank you for posting that for me. This buck was taken on an early rifle hunt, not archery, here in Idaho. I consider it a trophy hunt to draw on. Some might not, but I do. This buck is 27 3/4 wide and 22 tall. They told me it green scored 202, their friend is an offical scorer for B&C. Its a nice buck, it would have died in my crosshairs. Thanks for posting that again

IF YOUR GOING TO BE A BEAR BE A GRIZZLY BEAR!

I am sure Idaho's season is not even open yet. this must be from last year?

Think it is units 39 and 55.
Awesome velvet buck.
Congrats and thanks for sharing the pictures.

It would have to be one of the 2 early controlled hunts. My buddies brother shot a nice 170 class 4 point on one this year...on the 16th. It is 25 1/2 wide.....nice buck in full velvet.

Hey bonehead check yur inbox, I dropped you my personal email. Drop me a line. Well I seen this buck last night first hand. Its a great buck, I still have a hard time believing it scored 207 though. Its right front fork, left looking at it in the picture, crab claws quite a bit, there might be a three to four inch gap from the first point to the second. Its got decent tine length, but the left back fork in deeper than the right too. I'm guessing its probably gonna net in the 170's to 180's. Its a nice buck, man do those velvet horns stink. Nice buck for an early season Idaho hunt.

Great Buck.

I have a question on this early hunt and rut hunts. With the mule deer numbers down. Is Idaho and other states doing a good job managing the deer. This is a great deer and its genes would of been nice to keep in the pool. Don't get me wrong, I would of went on this hunt in a minute. I watch a lot of video rut hunts and there are not that many big Bucks in them and they always shot the biggest (just like I would). I do not want to start hunters fighting among our selfs, I just want to make sure hunters ask these question because no one else will.

Thats a good question. This particular hunt there is only 25 permits. It is a hard hunt to draw on. And you get some dobers, like a guy that works with my dad, that him and three other people drew on the same card, and he shoots the first buck he sees which was a 2x3. My own personal opinion is that deer are most vunerable durning these early season hunts, because they haven't encountered dangerous humans all that much yet and rut hunts, because like most vunarable males, they are thinking with the wrong head. Women all always get you in trouble then. I think as long as they keep the permit numbers down durning these hunts, they are managing them fairly well. But then our good 'ole Idaho Fish and Game Department, who is up for Jacka$$ of the year award as far as I'm considered, they manage a unit like Unit 56 for 15 years as a controlled hunt and build it to a trophy type Unit, then open it up for a 5 day free for all. That makes no since to me at all why they did that, other than the fact of the money that the tag sales will bring in for that unit. But ya, for the far part they have managed these early season and late rut hunts here pretty good.
