Well this years Rifle Trophy elk hunt was a success!!! With the elk not talking to much, and the weather medi-oker, we had an opportunity to take a 435 bull non typical 6x7! Needless to say, my ol man danced around like a litlle kid when he walked up to this monster. Just a couple of do it yourself hunters too! The country we were hunting in was so thick, it made the shot 20 yards away with a 300 WSM. a few weeks after the hunt, we took it to brent farnsworth who is wildlife officer as well as a B&C official scorer. He named the bull 435 gross, 425 net non typical. I just wish i had the picture taking skills that some of these guides have. LOL i lacked in that area big time, so the bull dont look as good as he does in real life. My Bad!! Heck of a fun hunt!!!!
