Manny, I just got burned out. I guided there for 19 years and just was getting tired of fighting with the fish and game.They have no clue what was happening there. I knoew that the mule deer hunting was on the decline and there was nothing I could do to change that. Had a great offer for the business and felt maybe now was the time to get out. Have been away from the guideing business for 7 years now and really missed it so ended up in Clark Fork Idaho and started a new outfitting business for big Elk, Whitetails and Bears. I know if I wanted I could go back down there and kill a monster buck for myself with a little time,but now have got really interested in taking big whitetails.

Just curious, but how much did you charge to guide a hunter? Say after tag and liscense fee's.

Smiley, my wife just refreshed my memory on Jeff Bingham. Yea I know him. I did lots of taxidermy work for him. Mostly raccoons bobcats,and a few deer.Back in the 80's.

Michael, We charged 2500 for 1x1 hunt for a five day hunt. That was back in 1997. We were the cheapest then and took the most big bucks taken out of all the muledeer outfitters..

I've only seen one in my life, and he didn't exactly stop and pose for me(camera season). He was seen by one of the game guys two years in a row, and as far as I know never seen or heard of again.

Yeah, Jeff is a pretty nice guy I do some lion and bear hunting with him I thought I had recognized your name . He has a few nice racks but I am pretty sure he doesnt know any of your honey wholes .

Kingfish, Just got out of the mountains today the 14th. Seen your message. We charge 3000 for a six day hunt for trophy elk thats a 2x1 hunt. If you want me to send a brochure send me your add or email it to [email protected]
