leaving in the morning

here it is again season opens in the morning. i haven't seen a monster in my scouting this year.
the sheepherder told me that a real tall bucks been watering at a spring so i set a tree stand there and will check him out.
the herder lives up there all summer and this is the biggest he has seen so even if i havent seen it yet it sounds better then the ones i have been seeing.
i'll sit the stand tell about 10 am then push the draw to moseley at his stand.
we will at least see some elk seeing that we didn't draw the tag.
two night ago we were watching the draw and two 6x6 bulls walked right under the stand moseley will be in. they were not bugleing yet. hope they start by the weekend when we go to encampment elk hunting

Is that Encampment, Wyoming you are elk hunting? I will also be down there this weekend. Seen any good bulls in the area. Biggest I've seen this year was a medium size 6x5, nothing big though. I have seen some big deer around this summer, but all have been down lower in the valley. My cousin from Illinois has a cow tag that he is hoping to fill in that area around Encampment, so I've been doing alot of scouting in the area.
