Monte Cristo / Causey Reservoir

I am thinking of rifle hunting for deer around Causey reservoir up ogden canyon, or maybe even Monte Cristo. Im not looking for trophies just something, anything. I am wondering if it is mostly public or private land around there? and how the success has been for anyone who has hunted the area? Is it a spot worth trying for anything? and are there many deer in this area? Well, thanks for any info it will definately help. e-mail is [email protected] if anyone has any info.
