Not the biggest buck but public land and do it yourself.
It had been raining all day and I spotted this buck up in a canyon at about 2:00.
Climbed up to a spot cross canyon. I lazered him at 387 yards but the rain and wind were right in my face and I could not see through the scope very well.
I waited about 15 minutes and miraculously the rain stopped allowing me to take the shot. At the shot he did a forward flip and rolled about 40 yards down the steep hill.
If you look right between his antlers just above his head, that small patch of green trees is where I made the shot from.

Not bad at all. Ya really gotta glass when the weather is bad and find 'em bedded out of the bad weather. Congrats!

Muley Man!

Nice long shot on a respectable buck like that...you've got room to brag a bit. Nice deer.

Congratulations on the buck. In my opinion he is a better trophy than a 30" from a guided hunt.

Appreciate you guys taking a look. You got it right, unit 39.
All that snow Saturday morning really got them moving.

Shot him while he was chewing on a stick eh? Great Job/Buck!

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Congratulations on a successful hunt and a fine buck! A lot of up and down country there!
