First time actually posting. I love this website and I figured that someone here would be able to help me out. I was fortunate to get to hunt on private land in the southern region in Utah with my brother. Well my brother got luckier than I did. I shot a nice 19" 4x3 with eye guards and my brother shot a once in a life 30" 4x4 with nice eye guards. It is a huge monster. I am wondering if anyone of you could recomend some good taxidermists here in the central area of Utah. I will post some pics later. Thanks

Not sure how far Salt Lake is from you, but I've heard good abouta "Bill Mamalis" and that last name is how it sounded to me, spelling could be WAY off???

the pics are coming. just waiting for a guy to email them to me tonight. then however long it takes to get them up.

UHHH what is a PM. sorry if it is something simple i am new at this so i don't know all the funky lingo and abreviations yet.

Wiscombe wildlife taxidermy is in Mapleton. He's good and reasonable priced. cell phone 801-735- 5484. He's done alot of work for me and I'm very pleased.

I have had great luck with Merlin Anderson out of Salt Lake. He did a trophy bull elk And two bucks for me. Reasonable on price but more important was how the work turned out. He has quite a bit of work hanging in Sportsmans Warehouse in midvale. His ph # is 801 571-0039. Best of luck and congratulations on what sounds like a great hunt.

The two best taxidermists in Utah county are Aaron Ewell in Pleasant Grove and Kelly Memmott also in Pleasant Grove. Both do outstanding work and aren't that expensive.

Dave Anderson Taxidermy in American Fork is also one of the best in the state. A blue ribbon winner in taxidermy shows. I guraantee you he'll do you an excellent job at a reasonable price. Slamdunk

Curious note to all

What is reasonable for mule deer and elk mounts in Utah? Just wondering.

Jeff

A friend of mine does some great work and is the most reasonabley priced guy I've found. His name is Mike Christensen from American Fork. He gets the mounts back fast too.
