Hey fellas,

I need some ideas for a shoulder mount for my buck. What do you all like? I have one buck done in semi-sneek w/left turn.

What'da think?

Thanks

Post us a picture of the deer. Often times I suggest mounts due to the way the antlers are. If they are normal then it can be up to you or think of how they'll mate up on the wall.

I do think that having an assortment of heads on the wall looks better than all straight upright heads.

Here is one of my favorites. It is an offset droop. I know that this one is a whitetail form, but any taxidermist worth his salt can modify one to fit your cape. Another form that I really like is a semi-sneak with the head tilted down slightly. It makes for more of an agressive looking mount.

Hopefully I will have the pictures posted tonight. I'm waiting for them via e-mail from my dad. I shot a 6x7 on the opener of the rifle hunt this year.

Elkhuntr....I had my muzzleoader buck from a few years ago done as a pedestal. It turned out good. I will try and post a picture for ya. They are kind of different, but I think they look good.

I like the way they mount mulies or elk around hangable boulders and aspen leaves.

Here are two that I have had done and I think they turned out awesome.
