This is a buck my Dad killed in Colorado in November.
He measures 30 1/2" outside spread.
Can anyone give an estimate on what he might score?

Thanks,
Ryan

Wow, that is a beautiful buck. Id say 200+. Great mass and main beams and everything. Damn that buck is nice.

Looks like western CO and 195ish! Awesome buck, thanks for sharing. Makes mine look like a forkhorn!

I figure he scores somewhere between "I think I'll take this one" and "Holy crap I'm shaking"...love the mass...you couldn't have had a better background for the pic...nice

Great mass and looks like great main beam length, Id guess he'll push the hell out of 200".

that buck is going to outscore all other typicals posted this year. Those main beams are good and the spread credit is good. Very, very nice buck.

Thats a damn fine buck and I would be happy to have him on my wall. If what you say is accurate, 30 1/2 outside, the G-2s look about 12 -13 inches and obviously the other tines alot less. He is going to have about 80-85 inches in spread and beams. 36 inches of mass or close to. The tines lengths don't bode well for it being a 200 inch buck.

200 inch deer need 25 inch beams, 3 inch brows, 19 inch 2's, 11 inch 3's and 4's and a 25 inch inside spread. Obviously those are averages just for reference, but if he is lacking on his 2's then he must have to make it up elsewhere.

I have a buck with 30 inch beams and 30 inch inside spread that is a big 3 point frame and the frame score right at 180. I'm kind of basing my estimates off comparing that buck of your dad's with mine.

Score is just a number and that is a great buck!

I'll say he grosses 187. Great buck no matter what he scores!

Awesome buck. Congrats to your dad.
I would guess a (net)of 186.
No matter what he ends up scoring he is a dandy.
Thanks for sharing.
Best,
Jerry

There was a shed posted in the shed hunting forum that looked almost identical to the side with the mainbeam that curves up.
I will look for the post and put the link up.
Great Buck!

Gross 205" net 194" His left main beam is much longer than his right and that will hurt the score considerably.

Congrat's to your pop, that is an awesome buck.I also agree with sealer, the background makes for a great trophy photo. Thanks for sharing the picture.
