northern utah deer

I want to know how everyone did that hunted the rifle hunt in the northern region. I got a 21 1/2" 4 point . There was alot of shootings . I msotly seen two , and 3 points being taken with one other 4 point I saw . It sure was a good year though . Hope it will be good next year also . Lets here how it went for you in northern utah hunt .

No one on this forum hunted northern for the rifle hunt . I know some people on here did . Let me know . Im curious.

I am still hunting Northern Utah. I will let you know how I do. There were a few hawgs harvested in Cache County!!

I hunted northern utah off the mirror lake highway in the high uintas, and ended up taking a nice sized two point. It wasn't a hog, but it was my first deer with a rifle, so regardless of it's size it was a trophy to me!

I hunted the cache and shot a 2 point, the 1st counselor in my bishopric shot a 28" 4x5 on the cache, and I heard of quite a few 24"+ bucks coming off the cache. Lots of good bucks, many taken on winter range chasing does, the snow got the rut started a little early. The average age of bucks brought through DWR checkstations was up throughout the state and buck to doe ratios were good. I don't think we shot too many bucks, so next year should be another good one if this winter doesn't go crazy on us.
