LAST EDITED ON Nov-28-04 AT 09:20PM (MST)[p]Snowman jr. just nailed this nice 5X6 Wasatch Muley with his bow. We have seen some of "Hermans" offspring this year. A few super nice cheater bucks. One with several sticker points. Notice the nice cheater coming off the deers right side(G3). Happy hunting. Snowman sr.

THE ONLY bobcat WONDERING WHERE THE SNOW IN THE PICTURE IS???

Snow jr., just nailed this buck last week. That's why there is no snow (pun not intended) in the PIC. Maybe in the next 2 days I'll have a PIC for you with some snow, as I hope to arrow one of these gaints I've been watching.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-29-04 AT 00:45AM (MST)[p]Awesome buck! I think that smile pretty well says it all! There sure have been some whoppers killed this year here in Utah. Looks to be one of the best years in a long, long time.

Very nice looking buck and a good accomplishment with the bow. But the photo itself is very distasteful with the arrow sticking out of it. Sickening really why you wouldnt crop that out.

WOW!!! Congratulations!
That's a monster muley at it's best. Looks like you sure had him "snowed". :)
I have to agree with GrandpaNasty about the arrow in the picture though. I didn't notice it at first, I was too busy looking at that rack, but as a person who really enjoys quality in-the-field pictures, I would've removed it.
Great buck anyway!

Nice pic~! Glad your son got one dandy there. Good luck to you Rob in nailing another toad.

I decided to go out on a limb and share a excited little brothers picture of killing a super Wasatch buck. I even gave you all a clue that it was killed on the Wasatch. AND some of you "poor sports" complain about, "looks like you shot it in Alpine, and "that arrow sticking out could have been cropped". The last time I got on MM was back in Sept,Oct 2003. I submitted a nice deer on Sept 29 2003 in the big buck contest photo gallery. I got crap from some member on that buck too. It's a good thing there are a few positve MM memebers still out there, as this would have been my last posting on this site.

Snowman

PS-It was shot on public ground within the extended bow unit. NOT Alpine. I'm not some dumb "Hillbilly" like yourself.

Pull your head out of your arse and see the light. I'm sure with a buck like that you'd have more field pictures than the bad one you have shown. Its a bad picture, no two ways about it. It is also a great buck and deserves to be seen here but take some constructive critism for what its worth. If you got crap before and you are getting crap now maybe that should tell you something. I won't go so far as calling you a hillbilly though, because I'm one and I don't know if you are that good.

Nice buck.

Piss poor photo selection! That animal, or any animal for that matter deserves more respect than he is being shown...

Congratulations on a great buck.

I would tend to agree with the comments on the photo, I love to see pictures of peoples trophys, but at the same time I think most people prefer to not see the blood and arrows.
None the less congratulations once again.

Dianna

I will have to disagree with you people on the pic it is a great pic . If you got a arrow stuck in there that broke I doubt you would take it out . Maybe it couldnt of been pulled out . I justhink people are jeolous or mad because he got a magnificant animal on the wasatch front , and that you havent gotten one or came close to that hog . So if you see the pic offending keep your mouth shut , and just congratulate him because all I am seeing is putdowns . Tell your bro congrats snowman he did good . I hope you get one also . The front sure holds some hog animals .

Very bad, tasteless picture but very good buck, congrats to him on a real beaut. No, I'm not jealous either, no reason to be.

Give me a brake guys! I agree that the arrow is a little much, but is it really that big of a deal. Lets give the hunters credit for harvesting an awsome animal. I am sure that they are grateful and respectful to this animal. I know the wasatch pretty well, and I am telling you that an ametuer is not going to walk up to a big old boy like that one and shot it with a bow. I am sure they worked for this one and the hunter deserves a little credit. A better way of stating your opinion would have been to simply suggest that next time he post with out the arrow, if you continue to rip apart there may not be a next time. I for one will admit that my buck from this year has not been posted on this site do to the fact that so many of you are always looking for things to complain about and ways to put others down. Lets just all get along, because I know that we can all agree that this is one heck of a buck. Congrats to the Snow guys on the Wasatch Front Success.

great buck i'd be proud of him with or without the arrow for a bunch of hunters some of these guys are to sarcastic you haven't been seeing any of my blurry pictures anymore and if it wasn't for some of you great people that are here i would stay over at moosey's they don't complain about blurry pics or spelling. wish you other moaners would get a life and stop judging others as a past time. we are hear for fun not english class or photography lessens.

if u can't read this go to the next post and shut up.
brian, allen and drummond if it wasn't for you guys i'd stop comming here. you make this a great sight.

I can see you aren't one of the bright ones either. NO ONE is complaining about the picture being fuzzy, its the fricken arrow and blood that make the picture bad. You'd never see anything like that in a magazine, so why should you here? It doesn't make hunters as a whole look very good. And I repeat for you slow people, we are all in agreement it is a good buck.

Grandpanasty keep going on about it . Its making me laugh getover it already . I dont think it isnt harming anything .

Great buck, don't worry about the negative comments they are just jealous. My hunting partner and I shot a couple of good bucks this year and have not posted the pic. because somebody always has a #####. Great job, twokids

Congratulations. What a great buck. You have definitely shot a super buck of a lifetime. Ignore the crap and savor the moment. You shot a 30 inch buck with a bow!

Can't wait to hear the story and see more pictures of your buck.

Congrats to Snow Jr on a helluva buck, IMHO the photo is not one bit tasteless. I originally saw this post when it first came out and decided against commenting on it to see where it would go. Well to no surprise it went to south. I am however surprised at a few of the guys who took it south. Tasteless in my opinion would be an ATV parked in the background with a rifle and a case of beer on the fender while Snow states this was an archery buck on public land. So what that there is an arrow sticking in the body, thats how we kill animals right? We are all hunters and ALL of us know that death is NOT pretty. If Snow had cropped the arrow out of the photo would it have changed one bit how this magnificent buck died? Not one iota. Would it make YOU feel better about how the buck died? GET OVER IT. I'd be willing to bet that each and everyone of us has killed an animal in a manner that wasnt text book at one time or another.

Once again Snow Jr, great buck.

COWBOY UP CUPCAKES!!!

YOU KNOW,IF THE ARROW WOULDN'T OF BEEN IN THE PICTURE,THERE'D BE PEOPLE ####ING ABOUT RATHER IT WAS A TRUE ARCHERY KILL OR NOT!!!

MAN I HOPE I NEVER GET A 30"+ BUCK,SOMEBODIES BOUND TO ACCUSE ME OF SHOOTING IT OFF THE WING OF MY CHUTE-PLANE IF IT EVER HAPPENS!!!

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOW ME A PERFECT PICTURE THAT WILL SATISFY EVERYBODY???

AMAZING HOW MANY PEOPLE GET AN ATTITUDE WHEN SOMEBODY ELSE TAKES A NICE BUCK OR BULL!!!

THATS A DAMN NICE BUCK,YES I CAN HANDLE THE ARROW,YES I CAN HANDLE I DIDN'T SHOOT THE BUCK!!!

THE ONLY bobcat THINKING MAYBE SOME OF YOU OUGHT TO TUFFEN UP OR SHUT UP!!!

Hey grandpa hillbilly,

Only had a cell phone camera to take 2 shots, and this was the best photo. Why don't you step out side your trailer home and "rope a goat", Becuase that's as close as you'll ever get to killing a big buck.
The MIGHTY snowman

LAST EDITED ON Nov-29-04 AT 10:33PM (MST)[p]Snowman,

Great buck, dont let anybody give you grief over the arrow. I would love to take a buck of that size with my bow. It really surprises me how negative some of the guys are here, lighten up guys! Lets enjoy a great buck and not go nuts cause the pic isnt magazine quality. Once again great buck!

Attention all members.
I left the arrow in the picture to find out how many PETA members are using this site. It looks like there are way to many!!

I haven't been aroung here on MM for a real long time but I think this is the worst thread I've read. This site is for telling stories, sharing pics, and giving advice to FELLOW HUNTERS...not nit picking like my mother use to do when my shoe was untied! A man shares his trophy and he (and everyone else) gets to read about "photo quality" and "gee golly he should have removed the arrow". You pandsy a** whiners get a life and I think I can safely say that because you are spending waaaay to much time on the internet if you are getting that critical about a mans buck of a lifetime. As for Snowman Jr....way to kick a** and take one hell of buck with a bow no less! Nothing but congrats from this jealous hunter...and please don't let a few idiots ruin it for you. Remember there are a lot of good people here on MM.

"The Buck stops here...I hope!"

That is a great buck regardless of what else has been said here. If the arrow is part of how it happended, so be it. It is your memory and you are just trying to share a great harvest with all the others...
It wouldn't matter if you had the buck laying on velvet, with leather and lace all around its body, and ribbons and bows in its hair, somebody would bi*ch about that too...In the heat of the moment, we all take photos that may be offensive to someone, but we can't please everybody all the time..
Congratulations from me!
That is a great buck and I can appreciate your dedication and hard work to be able to take a buck of that magnitude!!!
a*r

A bad day hunting is better than a Good Day at Work!!

congratulations on a great buck. I was actually up where you were the morning that you shot this monster. I saw you cleaning it just above the houses. I don't care about the arrow in the picture but who the hell sucked down all the cigarettes and left them laying around the gut pile. If it was you clean up your ##### no one wants to see that on the mountain. If it wasn't then someone else needs a lesson on ethics

Un-fuggin-real....first the arrow, now his gut pile, what a bunch of fuggin wacks!

Nice buck Snow....I'd would stick the arrow in my side for that buck.

Hey anyone else getting into the utah hog bucks from the extended front ? I went by there by my house this morning seen some dragging through the snow . Seen about 4 different places where a deer was dragged off .

later , hunter cameron

Very nice buck, especially with archery gear. The pic looked fine to me. It was posted for other hunters to see, not to be published in a magazine. If that offends you, maybe you're on the wrong site. It takes practice and experience to take pics that are publish worthy. Give him a break.

This deer wasn't poached or left to rot! I personally could care less about the arrow. lets just be happy this trophy animal wasn't wasted. I like seeing peoples trophies be it a spike or a new state record, thank you for sharing your pics.

If I ever get to kill a buck like that with a bow OR a rifle there will be a pile of cigarette buts all over the ground, and I don't even smoke!

Steve

Ya gotta be kidding me, people on this site are actually whining about an arrow sticking out of a deer!!!!!!!!!
WELL BOO F!CKING WHO.

nice deer snowman.

Cigarette butts....is that all?

Most anyone shooting a buck like that would be leaving a lot more around the kill site seeing how they would probably be crapping all over themselves.

After killing my first really big hog Muley I was shaking so bad I wished I had a pack of cigarettes and I don't even smoke.

The only thing that concerns me is the mention of the kill site and drag trails near houses...what the heck is up with that?

You guys aren't shooting someones apple eating pets are you?

You have killed deer, gutted them, and butchered them... Why are you complaining about a little blood and an arrow?
