Tooele Depot Buck Dead

I just heard that some kid down in tooele shot the big buck on tooele army depot property with a bow. He called the Game warden to come and score the animal and when the game warden showed up and saw the buck he instantly knew the kid didnt shoot it on the wasatch extended area unit but in fact had trespassed and killed the buck. The game warden had a pic of the buck with him and compared it to the one in possession of the kid and made a match. I dont know who it was that posted a pic of these bucks but it is in the mule deer forum somewhere it is the biggest 4 point in that pic that was shot. I have only one thing to say What kind of dumb a$$ does it take to lie to a game warden who has a pic of the same buck and try to get away with it? I hope this kid gets nailed hard for what he did.

Having a weapon an a Federal base is another charge and then to 'discharge a weapon' on a Base will be another charge........ maybe he will bunk in prison with Martha Stewart.........

I'am not suprised at all. The same thing probally happened to the AF buck.

Unfortunately, with all the people who see these pictures on the net, if the buck's location is noted, good chance an idiot will take a crack at it. Too many poacher's out there.

I have found six bucks with heads cut off in the last 8 years, some huge body bucks too. All were dead no more than a week. I wonder how many more are out there since just stumble on em when out fishing.

Too bad we can't just share pictures and enjoy, without worrying about the "protected" bucks.
